May 2008 Virgo: (Aug. 24-Sep. 23): Virgo as your monthly horoscope begins in May things finally begin to move forward in some ways, backwards in other ways! Mercury enters Gemini just as Saturn goes direct in Virgo. Both signs rule communications! How many of you have someone in your life that you are not speaking to, haven't communicated with and need to speak too, long to talk too and need to reach out to? Mercury rules both your solar 1st house of personality, physical body and your solar 10th house of respect and status. You probably feel like no one is listening and no matter how you try to make your point no one cares or they just haven't been listening. They'll start. As Saturn goes direct at 11:07 pm edt in your solar 1st house of taking charge of your own destiny. You could be thinking just how much you would like to be independent and without baggage. Still others who have been alone are tired of being alone and longing now for that permanent relationship. Jupiter goes retrograde in Capricorn your solar 5th house of love and romance making you revisit and having to go restructure your most personal relationships. Mars enters Leo in your solar 12th house of secret sorrows and this month the theme is children's issues and problems or love troubles and how insignificant or jealous they make you feel. Many people are afraid of numbers let’s face it. However to be a good astrologer you have to read the numbers and have your brained tuned into recognizing patterns and angles, even the imaginary ones. With that in mind there is a configuration in the planets with the Lunar Nodes, Saturn, Neptune and Jupiter and Uranus. This suggest the Pluto revolution is underway because it suggests that many people are in situations that are confining and they are already looking for ways out without making anyone mad or alienating anyone or drawing attention to themselves. It’s like being held captive and being nice to your captors while you are devising a plan of escape plan. It’s not going to work to be nice to the captors though. They don’t have your future on their minds. With Saturn, the Lunar Nodes are his agents. They are not bringing change yet. They are helping Saturn keep the status quo and to keep you right where you are. Saturn also has the help of Pluto. That makes you nervous, and fearful about change. So where do you turn? Jupiter sextile Uranus suggests opportunities are abundant right now for change. It’s outside help. Look around for the new people, new situations, spiritual liberation, and excitement. I guess what it’s suggesting to me is that some situations, your current situation have gone as far as they’re going to go. Seek out new friends, new acquaintances generate excitement in your life to create new energy and life. Until you have completely replaced the old ones. Still many of you will wait until the universe pushes you from the comfort of your current situations, if comfort is even the right word. It’s time for change; don’t wait until August when you have to be thrown out of a bad situation. Take a chance, grab an opportunity as it comes along right no, it’s time. So look around there are opportunities around you that are calling to you, take them. This can also indicates stalemates where ego and pride are getting in the way. the solution to stalemates also lies in the sextile between the higher energies of Jupiter and Uranus. Get out of the fixed stubborn, that satisfies your ego and into the higher elevation of Jupiter and Uranus. Follow your dreams, or your intuition, listen to your heart not your head. In your solar 12th house and your solar 1st house moving through the past and getting on a better footing is the priority no matter how hard it is. You can do this through the sextile in your solar 5th house of love, children and hobbies and your solar 7th house of relationships and marriage. your sense of duty and doing the right thing for those you care about will pull you through. This New Moon in Taurus is called a "Super Moon" a phrase coined by the astrologer Richard Nolle. This New Moon is called in Perigee because it's going to be closest to the Earth and therefore it's ability to influence the Earth, tides and it' s inhabitants is at it's greatest. Not only is it at it's closest proximity to Earth but it's moving very quickly. When any planet moves quickly it's influence over us is greatest! There are two fixed stars that could have an influence over this New Moon and though they are far apart they still need to be considered. Alamak and Menkar. Alamak brings favor and, Menkar brings tests of endurance. In your solar 9th house of guidance, knowledge and learning suggest knowledge is power. Don't stop learning. Do lot's of different things. New experiences will get you through this month. Twice as nice? maybe.The Full Moon in Scorpio, the 2nd Full Moon in Scorpio your solar 3rd house of communications suggest you can give it as good as you can take it. Words can be thrown around and be quite hurtful. As Sun enters Gemini, your solar 10th house of career and reputation this part of your life gets an added push and you get recognition from every one around you. Mercury goes retrograde in your solar 10th house and it's possible you may have to take a double take and speak up when you don't feel you are getting the respect you deserve. April 2008 Virgo: (Aug. 24-Sep. 23): Virgo as your monthly horoscope begins the planet of action Mars,moves out of it's shadow, Pluto goes retrograde and the New Moon ushers in something special. As the month begins there is allot to look forward to. New Momentum and a renewal well, some people think of spring and the zodiac new year as "new" things happening. When if you think about it Spring is a creative time. Trees and Plants begin to grow again. Animals procreate and reproduce, A new cycle of creativity begins. The death of winter is replaced by the births of springtime. Not necessarily new energy but new creative energy. And so it is this month in April we all begin to feel a new creative energy burst forth. Perhaps with things or people we had let go of temporarily. We get a new interest or take a new approach. A new idea leads to that new approach but, we are just building upon a reality or circumstance that is already there. Mars moves out of it's shadow into new degrees of the sign Cancer which rules motherhood and birth. A new burst of creative energy becomes available to us. Still Mars in Cancer doesn't approach things head on. The crab moves side to side. In your solar 11th house of friends, ex's , hopes and fears you will go side to side on issues like, what you really want or acting progressively with ex's, and friends, being a really good friend or seeking help when you need it.
