We are still in the New Moon cycle as the Moon continues to grow in fullness. The Moon cycles brings fast changes to our lives, The Sun and it's aspects bring slower changes. This week the Sun in Taurus aspects the Lunar Nodes. World leaders, and those in positions of power could suffer major set backs. The world Financial markets, could be affected. This aspect could indicate a downward turn in currencies, gold prices and interests rates. Another financial institution could require a bailout from the government. It's a little known astrological secret that the same sign and house that rules money , rules morality, and self esteem. That suggests that when we do good we attract good things to ourselves. This can be a week of ups and downs. As the Sun squares the Nodes,some will always go back to what feels comfortable, the South Node, instead of moving forward . This will produce stagnancy or a comatose state. Saturn in careful and cautious Virgo joined by rash Mars energy, some of you who feel stuck could experience real crisis events to try to break the energy patterns. For some it could result in accidents and tragedies.

Aquarius (Jan 20-Feb. 18): Aquarius your weekly horoscope suggests that with the Sun in the fixed sign of Taurus your solar 4th house of home, emotional well being, beginnings and endings, getting your needs met, personal security and feeling safe, you could be experiencing a situation that doesn't meet your needs and perhaps threatens your wealth, property and even where you are alone with no emotional support.

The Sun in Taurus is squaring the Lunar Nodes in Leo and Aquarius this week.  The Sun rules life! Venus the planet of love, in the highly sensual, yet selfish fixed sign of Taurus, begins to trine Jupiter retrograde in Capricorn. To my astonishment I have read that some astrologers think this means opportunity for love and romance! No, Jupiter retrograde is aspecting the Lunar Nodes and is not  effective right now,  The planet Venus which rules love and marriage is therefore debilitated opening the door for  the negative  aspects of Venus to come through.  Which is affairs, being overly indulgent in food and drink, being selfish, and self indulgent, and lazy.  Only caring about what she wants, and not the consequences of her actions.  In your solar 4th house of home, family property and the ending of matters yours is one of the signs that will feel this weeks aspects most. Your needs are being met and you may feel that it's time you got to lean on someone. It's not the time though to open yourself up! These are pivotal houses in the zodiac and produce immense changes!

Mars having just entered the fixed sign of Leo is parallel to the planet Saturn in Virgo giving added strength and resiliency to those who need it. In your solar 7th house of relationships, lawsuits, marriage and partnerships, along with Saturn in Virgo your solar 8th house gives you tremendous leadership capabilities and inner strength to get through any storm.

It's an exciting week, with this very potent New Moon in Taurus. Taurus rules money, assets, personal spending,self esteem, morality and finding oneself both spiritually and morally. WE all have to define for ourselves what we will do and what we will not do. Without boundaries we live out of control and chaotic lives. It's a little known astrological secret that the same sign and house that rules money , rules morality, and self esteem. It's a contemplative week as Saturn is stationary direct and Mars is saying goodbye to the sign of Cancer. We'll think about things thoroughly, and even though it's a New Moon there's not much action with Mars in reticent Cancer. Remember the very last degree of any sign is a karmic degree. Then Mars enters Leo and at the very same time Saturn is ready to move quickly ahead too.

Aquarius (Jan 20-Feb. 18): Aquarius your weekly horoscope suggests that with the Sun in the fixed sign of Taurus your solar 4th house of beginnings and endings, this week more and more you will be thinking about your personal security and anyone or anything that threatens your peace of mind, and finances, may have to go. The New Moon in Taurus your solar 4th house, doubles your possibilites for freedom and self sufficency. You may have to be strong for those around you too. Somehow, you could be touched by death this week. Property matters and security need to be carefully looked at and perhaps it's time to move or reconstruct residential property. Aquarius (Jan 20-Feb. 18): Aquarius your weekly horoscope suggests that with the Sun in Taurus your solar 4th house of beginnings and endings, a death, your childhood memories or the environment you where raised in suggest you have an opportunity to lay to rest a part of your past. This could be a pivotal week as you will turn many corners this week. It could happen as a natural flow of events or it could happen abruptly. Each and every time Saturn begins a new transit through a sign we all start the cycle with a wish.  It could be a wish to get a college degree, a wish for a better job, or just to get a job. A wish to start a business, or a wish to work on your relationship and make it successful. A wish to find love again. The planet Saturn rules how wishes are fulfilled.   Saturn rules the law of retribution or paybacks.  Remolding and remaking your life. It rules karma and progress through acceptance.  It’s suggested then, non-acceptance would result in more difficulties.  Saturn is apparent stationary retrograde, from our vantage point on earth, will resume direct motion on May 2nd and pick up speed after May 9th.  It might be a good time to review.  This will be Saturn’s 3rd pass at 1*degree Virgo.  The 2nd and 3rd passes get increasingly more difficult to handle.  What wish did you make in September?  How would you like to remake and remold your life? Now, when I write these horoscopes I don’t just look at the traditional aspects you find in your ephemeris. I look at the Nodes for example, and this week the North Node is conjoining the spiritual planet Neptune. The South Node opposes Neptune. Neptune rules creativity and a very high level of spirituality. In Aquarius it rules telepathy and intuition. The North Node is forward moving destiny. This aspect opens a door to another level of spiritual growth. Many are being called to become more spiritual. Perhaps many of you will have unique spiritual experiences that will move you to learn more or develop your intuition, telepathy and your own abilities to control circumstances spiritually or intuitively.  In your solar 1st house of goals, leadership and your purpose in life ask yourself are you leading people in the right direction or leading them astray. The penalties are great for the later. The planet of love Venus enters Taurus your solar 4th house of family and this planet keeps affections warm and cozy. Single Aquarius could fall madly in love and become very smitten by someone new. Many of you will probably just want to hide at home and enjoy the comforts of home. As Mars re-enters Cancer (the sign that rules property matters, and sustaining ourselves) your solar 6th house of work, employers and employees is ignited with power struggles as Pluto opposes. You don't see it, but others do, you are just set in your ways and it's hard for you to change. I have written this week about retrograde Saturn and you are probably wondering why.  When I looked at the planets this week and saw that Mars is re-entering Cancer and then opposing Pluto in Capricorn, well then it made sense to me that I have to include a string reference to retrograde Saturn ruler of Capricorn. Looking back to when Mars was first in Cancer way back in late September 2007, I noticed that Saturn was at the very same degrees that it is now. A heavy influence in the sign of detached Aquarius with the Sun, Chiron, retrograde Mercury and the North Node, the forward moving destiny timer, suggests a more detached, impersonal Valentines Day is probable. In your solar 1st house of personality, self assertion and aggression you are going to be larger than life and feeling your power, or the power you think you have. Avoid drama driven confrontations or pushing others around to much! The North Node at 27°Aquarius and the South Node 27° Leo are sextile and trine the planet Mars in Gemini. Here Mars is still in his shadow, retracing the steps he made in September. Mars in Gemini can be argumentative and prone to thinking he is right. These transits are not static but, fluent in motion. Since Mercury is the ruler of Gemini where Mars the planet of action, has been retrograde, and transiting since between September 15th and September 18th, something is definitely changing hands soon. What could this mean? Mercury can have allot to do with weather, unusual weather of the type air could occur. Unusually cold, dry, or unusually windy.
