Libra: (Sep.22-Oct. 23):  your weekly horoscope begins with the Annular New Moon Solar Eclipse at *6 Aquarius, begins what is to be a dynamic time that will propel us all into the future.  The New Moon eclipse conjoins Jupiter the planet of luck and The magnetic North Node, our destiny and fate.   Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system and its sheer volume can pull the Sun from its orbit. Needless to say that along with the New Moon eclipse, and the asteroid Juno (relationships) we are all in for sudden surprises and events and circumstances that move us forward collectively.  There are fortunes to be made and fortunes to be lost, as any combination of the Moon and Jupiter foretells or forewarns.  This New Moon eclipse is all together more potent because it joins a rare stellium or bundle of planets and asteroids all in the sign of Aquarius,  that includes The Sun, Juno, the North Node, Chiron, and Neptune, making them all act as one planet or influence.  I'm going to talk more about Juno and her Venus influence and affect on relationships in the Monthly horoscopes section.  Every New Moon is an awakening of new energy, the hatching of new ideas and movements and the sprouting of new energy.  This New Moon though is the awakening of your collective consciousness, your intuition, that inner voice that tells you where you should be and shows you that miracles really can happen and do.  Aquarius rules friends, influential people your fondest hopes and fears, sudden attachments, being influenced by others, mentors and people from the past. In your solar Mercury rx conjunct Mars in Capricorn is typically associated with electrical or telecommunications problems and failures could this be a result of chilling ice and bad weather this week perhaps so.  In your solar 5th house of love, romance, creativity, children, taking risks and luck.  While you may not be a stranger to sudden infatuations, strange or unusual attractions, short lived affairs children, and your on again-off again creative urges, you probably haven't experiences anything like what universe has planned.  Don't worry if you find it difficult to adhere to a strict schedule as you won't be able to control your desires and all the spontaneity that's on its way. New friends or lovers who share your vision an inspire you creativity could be just over the horizon.  Everything you have done in the past but put on the shelf could come to life again with the help of new friends or lovers who inspire and drive you to create. 

Mercury goes direct in Capricorn at the same degree where it was on December 26th when it trined Saturn.  In your solar 4th house of home, family, beginnings and endings, remember all the delays, false starts or false moves you've had?  Finally you close a chapter and this could include a move.

Your ruling planet Venus the planet of love enters Aries your solar 7th house of marriage, relationships and open competition.  It could be easier to compromise and meet others half way.  Love is found in a far off place, perhaps a large city or you could find yourself traveling for work or business and neglecting your relationship.

Libra: (Sep.22-Oct. 23):  As the Sun enters the sign of Aquarius it joins Mercury Rx, Jupiter, the North Node, Chiron and Neptune;  if that were not impressive enough next month we will have a rare bundle of planets in the sign of Aquarius, when Mars enters Aquarius early February. The pervasive attitude is "Let's do it!"  The Ruler of Aquarius is the planet Uranus, which is in Pisces, and the ruler of Pisces is in Aquarius, this is called a mutual reception. For the entire year of 2009 the massive planet of luck and benevolence is siding with Uranus in the great Saturn-Uranus opposition and is also considered to be in mutual reception to Uranus and Neptune.  Out with the old and in with the new?  Not quite, there's another unique property to the sign of Aquarius and the planet Uranus, which is the higher octave of Mercury (time), it brings back people from the past, memories and yet can reverse things. Ever wonder what happened to your long lost girlfriend or boyfriend from high school?  You could find out! To some extent the sign of Virgo, brings back the past and people from the past, except Virgo never likes to lose track of people from his or her past.  Many of you could have a flash from your past as the planets come around full circle and the realization of dreams comes to fruition.  The fixed signs or those of you born with lots of fixed planets will have to be flexible and allow for change to happen.  Do you have a lot of fixed planets on your chart?  The Sun is a light and as such will bring light through the properties of Aquarius to your life according to the house and condition of the planets involved.  All this takes place in your, 5th house, yet is dependent on where your Uranus is placed and aspected.  In your 5th house of love, children, romance and creativity you could be looking for a unique way to express your creativity and love.  Since the 5th house is Aquarius and rues the 11th house you could be looking someone special to share, support and merge with.  You are looking for someone to support your creative endeavors. Someone who will post your pictures on their fridge and think them too good to be true! Where your creativity ends and theirs begins, no one knows, where friendship and love merge into a crazy mesh, or you just may be looking for the child within you and trying to relive over and over your childhood.  Playing, taking risks with no thought of consequences could go over real well with you.  Romping in the grass or snow with an actual child could prove more healing though. This is your utopia.  Even if you don't have a child you'll relive the days of your childhood in some unique way.  Many of you could find yourselves wrapped up in your children's or lovers life.

Mercury RX re-enters Capricorn where it transited on New Years Eve, making this a good time to remember what our resolutions were and if we have managed to keep any.  It's great time to start again and reassess what we would like to accomplish in 2009.  Capricorn is your solar 4th house of home, family, your father, burials, beginnings and endings. If there was something you vowed to yourself to put to rest it's time to check and see how far you got.  Our success in the 4th house determines our success in the world.   

Mars in Capricorn will sextile Uranus, then trine Saturn in your solar 4th house of self sufficiency, and relying on ourselves, emotionally and financially and setting up our domestic lives.  A move or a move towards taking control and not relying on others will may you feel really good about yourself. 

Venus your ruling planet, the planet that rules love and marriage conjoins Uranus in Pisces and begins to aspect Saturn ruler of the past.  Are you thinking of the past or someone from the past?  This could make you see things differently in your solar 6th house of work, health and habits. Since Venus is your ruling planet this transit will be important and continues the theme of your 5th house and finding a love interest to work with or to share responsibilities with.  Here Venus sacrifices or asks for sacrifices and needs to be needed or rescued, or do the rescuing herself.  A friend or lover could be in crisis and need you. That's what you are looking for! Until the next damsel in distress comes along and you have healed your current lover...oh well...worry about that later.

The week ends with a New Moon Solar Eclipse, at 6* Aquarius in your solar  5th house  (click here to see it)  The New Moon Eclipse occurs Jan. 25 or Jan. 26 depending on where you are located... Each year we typically have about 3 sets of eclipses.  Eclipses have been feared because they bring in such significant changes.   In your solar 5th house of children, creativity, love, and taking risks you could find yourself once again taking unprecedented risks for love, a lover or your creative endeavors.

Libra: (Sep.22-Oct. 23):  Mercury in Aquarius is retrograde through January 31st.  It will resume direct motion at 21* Capricorn, where it was last December 26th, 2008.  Retrogrades don't have to have the ominous effect that we like to assume they have.  A planet when retrograde is at a point in its orbit that is farther away from Earth; so it appears to be retrograde.  It is in fact giving off a different light and how we react to this light is what causes the effects of a retrograde.  During retrograde we are supposed to be letting go of something, but that usually isn't apparent until mid way into the retrograde.  Instead of resisting the Mercury retrograde energy, try relaxing and submitting to the energy, letting go instead of hanging on to situations, people and things.  Since Mercury and Aquarius rule time, and feeling out of sync, just not wanting to adhere to a fixed schedule, feeling that time is accelerated and it's likely we will experience some minor unusual weather patterns.  In your solar 5th house of love, romance, luck and taking chances, the retrograde of Mercury could have you thinking back as even breaking up and taking chances and risks with love has consequences.  There's always this little voice inside us as we are thinking about leaving a lover that says, "hhhmm, maybe I shouldn't leave him or her."  Mercury retrograde can hurl you back in time and make you ask such a question.  On the other hand it is the sign of Aquarius and the Ruler of Aquarius is Uranus, lord of weirdo's, and strangers so you can equally be asking yourself, who is this strange and bizarre creature I am waking up with.  We can attract strange people under the transits of Aquarius!

As the Sun enters Aquarius your solar 5th house of love and  as the ruler of your 5th house you could once again be thumbing through your black book of people from the past! It's a recurring theme for Libra this year!

Mercury RX conjoins Jupiter in Aquarius in your solar Jupiter is the natural ruler of Sagittarius your solar and it's transit in Aquarius, ruled by Uranus the ruler of  the hierarchy of Mercury making time, and timing strange and different.  This will change your routine, make you tired or give you a strong desire for sleep as you may not be getting as much as you would like.  We live in an artificial environment ruled not by the Sun rises and Sun sets but, by our own artificial environments.  We are artificially cooled, heated, and lighted, making our own human bodies stressed as our natural rhythms are maxed out.   You could find yourself contemplating another big love affair right now and you want love and you want to be happy, but there's that question of time.  Has too much time gone by? Have  things changed too much?

Week of November 23-November 30, 2008

Libra: (Sep.22-Oct. 23): As your horoscope week begins the personal planets Mercury and Mars both in Sagittarius along with the Sun are lining up with the Lunar Nodes and its karma time! As much as we would like to think we are going to get a lot done this week we could experience mechanical, electrical and computer breakdowns and nervous breakdowns!  Instead of just forging ahead we'll be forced to slow down by bad weather, traffic jams or unforeseen events.  In Love many are haunted by the past still.  The planets in the sign of Sagittarius are aspected by the nodes and many could feel that they are only making a little bit of progress.  It's harder than ever to release the past! Saturn in Virgo, Jupiter in Capricorn, Venus in Capricorn and Pluto re-entering Capricorn, with such a strong emphasis on the Earth element and the sign of Capricorn right now, this week could be a bit tense! And it could be harder to relax. In your solar 3rd house of communications, short trips, comings and goings; take your time to say the right thing, drive carefully, and do things with focus.  Or you could make mistakes that you know are just not necessary.   It will seem to you that everyone out there is driving crazy and with a bit of road rage!

The largest planet in our solar system Jupiter ruler of luck and expansion along with the planet of love and luxuries are getting closer together in the skies bringing hope for our finances and futures. What's on our minds? Money!  The Jupiter Venus aspect bodes well for politics and the economy so we may see a few rays of hope by weeks end.  Venus is your ruling planet and her transit is very important to you.  These two planets converge in your solar 4th house of security, home, property and family.  The sign of Capricorn attracts status symbols and anything less for you wont. Do.  Your home life and your property must be in fabulous condition no matter where you are, where you live and how much money you may or may not have!

Pluto re-enters Capricorn, the sign of the mystic Sea Goat, like it did almost 1 year ago previously on January 26th, 2008. Capricorn rules among other things the political outlook and structure.  To be sure there will be lots of controversy as the climate of our country and then later, the world wants to uncover corruption and the misuse of power and showcase it! We can expect that a new world order is emerging where everyone is expected to live by and follow the rules, and if not, well Pluto in Capricorn will show you that it can't be bothered with anything less than you being a fine upstanding citizen. The sign of Capricorn doesn't waste time on anyone or anything it deems not serious and not playing by the rules. In your solar 4th house of property, home and family, establishing a firm foundation and secure base of operations for your life will be the goal. Women will play an important role in helping you do this.

The New Moon at 5* Sagittarius, the sign of the archer who is ever looking to the future this is your solar 3rd house of communications and short trips suggests that a trip for the holidays might be in the planning.  No doubt you'll want to get out and about discovering new things, with a bit of the adventurer's spirit.

Uranus goes direct in Pisces, from this point and through late February, Uranus is at it farthest point from the Earth, in its orbit.  When a planet is at it's farthest point from the Earth, its influence is different, in fact the light it reflects is different, and it's called "Red Shift".  This puts more emphasis on the Saturn in Virgo half of the opposition.  All that worry can certainly make people jittery enough to finally say "No More"!  We can expect the influence of Uranus to become more potent and the influence of Saturn to change as it goes retrograde. In your solar 6th house of work, diet, health and responsibilities, you could be asking yourself from time to time how I got myself into this situation.  Especially, if you find that are caring for or looking after someone and you aren't getting anything out of the arrangement. Take care not to venture out into bad neighborhoods.

Saturn in Virgo, Jupiter in Capricorn, Venus in Capricorn and Pluto re-entering Capricorn, there's a strong emphasis on the Earth element and the sign of Capricorn right now, this week could be a bit tense! The sign of Capricorn doesn't like to waste it's time on anything that isn't leading to something practical and serious. You'll find now that people have little of no patience for games and you wasting their time.  Have everything in order and be ready or you will just be pushed aside and hear..."Next "! On the other hand Capricorn is power and money. If you have any, people will be nipping at your heels to get it from you.  There could be lots of corruption afoot and misuse of power.  Take your time and be cool, don't be pushed into making fast decisions so others can make a fast buck! You need your concentration now to really get yourself on firm footing financially and emotionally.  Keeping yourself calm emotionally will help financially.

Week of November 16-November 23, 2008

Libra: (Sep.22-Oct. 23): This week we are in a waning Moon phase meaning that the Moon is decreasing in the Sun's reflection, from the sign of Cancer through the sign of Libra. Correspondingly we should be, ridding ourselves of things we don't use or need anymore, even by removing negative emotions.  There are some who will be happy to let go of all the unnecessary things in their lives in order to make room for other things. There will be those people who understand that they may have to give up something to in order to gain something else.  Like giving up sweets to gain your shape back. , Cleaning out your closets, and cupboards to make way for new items.  Success too requires giving up things, like personal time spent doing other things.  Everything is done this week knowing there's something special to be gained in letting go and giving up our old ways, structure and trivial pursuits!  The weeks are not confrontational aspects; they are more suggestive of deep change.  Moving from the sign of death and re-birth Scorpio, where we are confronting those things within ourselves that we would rather not, taking things to the limit or getting to the brink of disaster, bearing our souls to others and being striped naked in front of others, to be reborn, healed, and set free. Like getting your flu shot, like an animal being branded, or being held accountable for our actions, tested, tried and set free. Once out, we are in the sign of Sagittarius where we find inspiration, laughter, and new experiences, and realize things were never as bad as we thought they were.

 It's been beautiful to watch the Sun, Mercury and Mars lined up, in the heavens for the past few months, as we begin our journey to the alignment of 2012.  The major players have been assigned their roles.  This is big.  If you weren't listening, at the right time, when the call went out, if you were out playing and didn't let go of your nefarious pursuits, or put down your toys, if you were more interested in the pleasures of the moment, then heeding the call of the universe, it's almost too late now.  There will be a few last calls for minor roles as Saturn opposes Uranus.  Please take your seats as everything unfolds, this is a show you don't want to miss and you can't miss!

Mars the planet of fiery action enters Sagittarius where it last transited 2 years ago, December 2006.  This transit becomes more important because Pluto will leave Sagittarius where it has been transiting for the last 13 years, since January 1995. In your solar 3rd house of communications, and short trips, travel could be on your agenda in the near future. First, you must make plans, and arrangements and lots of phone calls.  This could put your ability to write or speak another language to good use, especially if you get to travel to another country!  Learning takes precedence though over everything else this month. Your mind is sharp now and your sense of humor returns!

Mercury sextiles Jupiter then Saturn and squares Neptune. There's ample opportunity to muddle through communications and face your challenges without fear.  In your solar 12th, 2nd and 4th houses finding a way to pay unexpected expenses is like pulling a rabbit out of your hat, but, you will!  Just face yoru fears, whatever they are! Jupiter in Capricorn trines Saturn in Virgo, a protective aspect not only for the economy but personally, in  your solar 12th house of debts and your solar 4th house of financial security, once this time period is over and you have paid your dues, you will know you are a survivor! As the Sun enters Sagittarius your solar 3rd house you may have much to be happy about.  Find the irony and absurd in all you do, laugh be happy and make others laugh!  Don't get so caught up in the details and the tradition of things. Free yourself, start new traditions this year! As Mercury the messenger of the Gods, enters Sagittarius the place of its detriment , it's time to communicate and talk to people that you find it difficult to talk to, just do it, it could turn out better than you imagine! Trips and short car rides with the fresh air make you feel refreshed.  It's not good for Libra and air sign to be cooped up all day!

Week of November 9-November 16, 2008

Libra: (Sep.22-Oct. 23): This week a series of sextiles and trines, opportunities and lucky breaks, suggest better news for our economy as well as for everyone's hope about the future. The Earth signs where Saturn and Jupiter are transiting represent determination and persistence in getting ahead with jobs and ambitious projects.  It's time to dig in work hard and not be sidetracked by negativity, criticism or the enormity of whatever's before you.  If you have a plan, a goal and a dream in front of you...you can reach it! You'll try to negotiate with people, get them to side with you, and perhaps by weeks end you'll be successful in getting those originally opposed to your plans or neutral to them, to go along with you. New opportunities for work and career play an important role in your future plans. You may want flexibility for change and to do your own thing, so flexible work as well as being able to work from home seems promising.

It's also a week of re-positioning like the childhood game of musical chairs, if you like.  As Mars leaves Scorpio, the sign that is known for permanent changes and its ruler Pluto the planet known for permanent changes, prepares to enter Capricorn, think about your future more seriously, and align yourself with people who are going places and doing important things. The, 8th and 9th houses, are to be considered and the restrictive past has to be made a memory.  You can't go on like that any longer; you need hope of a better day to survive. This pivotal and important crossover occurs in your solar sector that rules, relationships and making what seems done and over alive again! You could be very surprised that someone you think you hate, you could actually fall in love with once again. Money, boundaries, ownership and protocol should be things to be respected and considered. Communicating nicely, not harshly will get you farther.  Like they say a little honey goes a long way!

Just before Venus enters Capricorn, Venus conjoins Pluto at the fated degree of 29 Sagittarius. For many it's time to go or move on! Venus in Sagittarius the Sign of exuberance takes a chance at a love she knows and inspires Pluto the planet of intense love or intense hate, to reconsider.  It's like being at the train station and the train is pulling out of the station.  Before we move on to the vast changes that are ahead, people will be brought together or go their separate ways. The sign of Sagittarius knows it's a big world out there with many people and places to discover.  This aspect briefly talks about relationships and love held captive, for so long.  Now it's the karmic time to make it permanent, step up to the plate or not! With Pluto it's all or nothing!  Pluto never suggests anything, he orders it so. For many lovers and relationships this could mean you are free form Hades imprisonment. We have already seen Pluto move into Capricorn last year, so we are not afraid of moving on if we have to, we are not afraid of committing if we have to either. In your solar 3rd house of communications, cars, short trips and thinking, take a bit of time to figure out if your opinions are your own or just someone you have been talking to or getting advice from.  You may find that you have been influenced by others too much!  The way you communicate will forever be changing! On the other hand relationships with younger females and sisters could be changing too. For some it could be time to travel and purchase new wheels to do it in! As Venus, then Pluto enter your 4th house of security and domestication, many of you will find the value in settling down!

The exception this week will be the Full Moon which typically triggers emotional responses. In the fixed sign of Taurus the Bull the Financial Markets are susceptible to emotional selling and buying. The lights, the Sun and the Moon will aspect Neptune and cast a deliberate shadow or fogginess on what is otherwise a good week. On the same day The Sun squares Neptune with Mars still in Scorpio.  Something's amiss!  Illusions, manipulation, and lies are just some of the tactics that some people will use to cover up their own short comings, and keep you in your place.  The Full Moon at 21*Taurus, rules the 2nd house of money and person values, your solar 8th house of sex, intimacy and tradeoffs, bad habits and jealousy.  Proceed cautiously with those the you are involved with. You could feel you are on the verge of losing everything.

Once this weeks decisions are made, Mars and Mercury formulate the plan forward.  Mars enters Sagittarius and with the exuberance of the sign of Sagittarius jumps in and is ready to tackle anything new and exciting!  Paper work and making everything legal and getting everything in writing will be on your mind. In your solar 3rd house changes can be made quickly and easily with just a small dose of honesty and a promise to tell the truth and be the real you!

Nov. 2-9, 2008

This week Neptune the planet of illusions and higher than possible expectations goes direct.  Hopefully you didn't give up your inheritance, renounce your family and go into debt while sitting in awe and pursuing this person. Putting lovers on a pedestal and worshiping them like they are a God or Goddess, is a Neptune thing! Sacrificing everything for love is another Neptune thing! Oh Well, as they say all good things come to an end, but, why love?  We all just like to get swept away in the moment and dream that someone out there is going to love us and be our perfect compliment and we will live happily ever after, with now problems in the world.  Blame it on Neptune then, when you are picking up the pieces of your life and facing the hard reality of it all. Quick check your Free Natal Birth chart for any planets between 19*-29*!  Neptune goes direct in your solar 5th house of love, romance, luck and happiness you have to face the facts about your own personal happiness.  You may say you want love, but you can't have what isn't inside your own heart first.  Influencing and being influenced by others perhaps you will see now that the joke has been on you.

Venus your ruling planet, the planet of love squares Saturn and Uranus this week.  Some of you or maybe a lot of you are going to hit the reality wall this week.  If that still has you making excuses for yourself and everyone around you, your eyes will certainly have to open when Mars in Scorpio squares Neptune, Right? Telling lies and tales, stretching the truth, everyone is going to be caught this week.  You could end up wondering "what in the world is going on".   Be careful with money, and definitely don't mix love, money and gambling!

Then as Mercury enters Scorpio, and there will be some nasty language flying around, as you get told off or you tell someone off, hang up the phone and just pretend the whole nasty ordeal never took place.  In your solar 2nd house of money and self esteem you could question yourself and that's a good thing. Don't trust anyone to hold on to your valuables though. 

Then Saturn in Virgo opposes Uranus in Pisces this week.  Saturn will not give up under any conditions and in Virgo will nit pick and want all the minute details. Pisces, as we all know is a little fuzzy about the details and Uranus is just down right forgetful about the facts! That all spells trouble in everyone's love life this week!   If you don't have a love life anymore, then someone or some business wants a commitment from you about when you can pay back your loan and how much you can pay! No one is getting away with anything this week! In your solar 6th and 12th houses fear and apprehension could grip those around you if not you too.  You may have to handle an emergency situation that comes up!

The opposition is an aspect where the two sides have no common meeting ground.  You'll here astrologers say it's the young (Uranus) against the old (Saturn) the new rebellion against the establishment, or new ideas conflicting with the established way of doing things. Forget the election; you'll be in the lines on your cell phone talking to whoever will listen about the chaos in your personal life!

This could bring conflicts into your life so be more cautious when dealing with the competition or people you know don't like you.  It could cost you both livelihood and money.  The Sun joins Mars in Scorpio this week and sheds more light on how to be of service of others and create a niche for yourself. This is a week when ideas flow into tangle money making endeavors, and all through your own efforts and actions.  This is a week to think about your future as many of you could be almost free to make lifestyle changes.
