Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22):  Virgo as your weekly horoscope begins the the Sun in Taurus your solar 9th house of justice, spirituality, new experiences, travel and education you may have challenges in these areas to overcome, but you will!

The Sun in Taurus is squaring the Lunar Nodes in Leo and Aquarius this week.  The Sun rules life! In some respects The Lunar Nodes Squaring the Sun can bring pivotal life altering experiences, even death.  The Nodes rules circumstances and events that change our lives.  For some it will be intense, for others you will find yourselves wavering back and forth, especially if you aren’t sure who you really are inside, and you are forcing your opinions on others.   The result of this aspect will be seen and felt on the Full Moon which occurs for the 2nd time in the fixed sign of Scorpio.  This time there’s no escaping the fallout of only thinking for the moment, being too fixed, opinionated, authoritarian, or only thinking about ourselves.  The result is being brushed aside, outcaste, loss of money, scandal, death, imprisonment, or some other fearful place that you don’t want to find yourself. Still nothing great is ever achieved without the fixed squares! In your solar 9th house of justice, spiritual growth and learning and your solar 6th house of work, heavy responsibilities, health and duty and your solar 12th house of just wanting to escape, secret fears and self undoing, these changeable houses make you deal with day to day crisis constantly, and its showing its wear and tear on you.

Venus the planet of love, in the highly sensual, yet selfish fixed sign of Taurus, will trine Jupiter retrograde in Capricorn. To my astonishment I have read that some astrologers think this means opportunity for love and romance! No, Jupiter retrograde is aspecting the Lunar Nodes and is not  effective right now,  The planet Venus which rules love and marriage is therefore debilitated opening the door for  the negative  aspects of Venus to come through.  Which is affairs, being overly indulgent in food and drink, being selfish, and self indulgent, and lazy.  Only caring about what she wants, and not the consequences of her actions.  In your solar 9th house of dreams avoid escaping into dreams and day dreaming. Keep your self focused!

Mars having just entered the fixed sign of Leo is parallel to the planet Saturn in Virgo giving added strength and resiliency to those who need it.  In your solar 12th house of self undoing, and your solar 1st house of independence you could long for the days when your time was your own and you could have to fight for a little breathing room, so do it!

It’s karma time!  There is a significant aspect in the heavens called the finger of God.  It includes the planets Jupiter, Uranus and the Nodes.  The Finger points through the South Node in Leo, for some it’s time to pay the piper.  Set things right or have them set right for you.  Since the planet Neptune is very close to the North Node in Aquarius very strange things can happen now. Many of your could have gotten off your paths over the last 2 years, this aspect puts you back on the right path! In your solar chart the finger is your solar 12th house which amongst others things brings divine intervention after a time of suffering. The hope and the dream while you are feeling alone in the world is that the person or people who have made you feel this way will "get theirs"...they will.

There are great changes occurring right now that are going to open many people up to higher forms of consciousness and spirituality.  Many of you perhaps can feel that “it’s time”,
And are going through spiritual changes right now and you probably wonder, what does it really mean to be spiritual?  Here are a few ideas.

How do you find out what your karma is?  What your good karma is and how to continue along your path of growth and good karma?  What is your “bad karma” that you have to set right?  How are these karmic conditions represented in your Natal Birth Chart?
In general the sextiles, trines and sometimes conjunctions represent the good progress you made in previous lifetimes.  When these aspects in your chart receive aspects from transiting planets then you have additional opportunities to grow further and build on past life progress or good karma.  The difficult or challenging aspects in your chart and we all have them, the squares, the oppositions and the in-conjuncts represent things we have “set right”.  We cannot proceed and will repeat these “karmic Lessons” until we set things right.  That usually involves the ego.  They represent challenges and as such we should never give up on them.  Karmic ties are represented through Saturn natally and by Saturn’s transit.  The Moon and the Lunar Nodes are release points.

It's an exciting week, with this very potent New Moon in Taurus. Taurus rules money, assets, personal spending,self esteem, morality and finding oneself both spiritually and morally. WE all have to define for ourselves what we will do and what we will not do. Without boundaries we live out of control and chaotic lives. It's a little known astrological secret that the same sign and house that rules money , rules morality, and self esteem. It's a contemplative week as Saturn is stationary direct and Mars is saying goodbye to the sign of Cancer. We'll think about things thoroughly, and even though it's a New Moon there's not much action with Mars in reticent Cancer. Remember the very last degree of any sign is a karmic degree. Then Mars enters Leo and at the very same time Saturn is ready to move quickly ahead too.

The 9th house of also a spiritual house and a lucky house full of optimism. Look at all you have to be happy for and it will get you through the temporary tense moments this week. As the lucky planet Jupiter, ruler of the 9th house, Jupiter rules the 9th house and the sign of Sagittarius, where all this New Moon and solar activity is happening for you this week, goes retrograde. Jupiter goes retrograde in Capricorn. Capricorn is your solar 5th house of love, romance, children and creativity, the planets suggest that you have to break out of your well established rut and get out more, enjoy life, see things, socialize, entertain yourself and those you love! In a much anticipated move, Mars enters Leo , your solar 12th house and it immediately clashes with the status quo as Mars quincunx's Pluto RX, currently transiting your solar 5th house of creativity, love and happiness. You could have some insecure moments let them pass. Mar's enthusiasm is seen as reckless to Pluto retrograde in Capricorn. Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22):  Virgo as your weekly horoscope begins the the Sun in Taurus is transiting your solar 9th house of past life talents. You already know everything you need to, in order to get through the week! Your inner self will guide you! Each and every time Saturn begins a new transit through a sign we all start the cycle with a wish.  It could be a wish to get a college degree, a wish for a better job, or just to get a job. A wish to start a business, or a wish to work on your relationship and make it successful. A wish to find love again. The planet Saturn rules how wishes are fulfilled.   Saturn rules the law of retribution or paybacks.  Remolding and remaking your life. It rules karma and progress through acceptance.  It’s suggested then, non-acceptance would result in more difficulties.  Saturn is apparent stationary retrograde, from our vantage point on earth, will resume direct motion on May 2nd and pick up speed after May 9th.  It might be a good time to review.  This will be Saturn’s 3rd pass at 1*degree Virgo.  The 2nd and 3rd passes get increasingly more difficult to handle.  What wish did you make in September?  How would you like to remake and remold your life? What aren't you accepting and where are you being non acceptant? Saturn will trine Pluto in Capricorn and Pluto rules your willingness to let go and spiritually transform and change. These transits are telling us to keep to your plans and wishes, keep your eye on your goal no matter what, be patient, accept what you cannot change, and accept others.You will make a lot more progress through spiritual transformation, change and rebirth. Saturn goes Direct May 2nd at 11pm edt.  In your solar 1st house you could feel your sense of purpose,and leadership is renewed. you are getting closer to your goals. Now, when I write these horoscopes I don’t just look at the traditional aspects you find in your ephemeris.  I look at the Nodes for example, and this week the North Node is conjoining the spiritual planet Neptune. The South Node opposes Neptune. Neptune rules creativity and a very high level of spirituality. In Aquarius it rules telepathy and intuition.   The North Node is forward moving destiny. This aspect opens a door to another level of spiritual growth. Many are being called to become more spiritual.  Perhaps many of you will have unique spiritual experiences that will move you to learn more or develop your intuition, telepathy and your own abilities to control circumstances spiritually or intuitively.  In your solar...6th house of work many of you could be called upon to take on another level of responsibility at work, You could even apply your new found spiritual values at your job. Your compassion and understanding are needed there. Still others will begin jobs shortly in the healing arts!
The planet of love Venus enters Taurus your solar 9th house of learning, legalities, talents and travel. Unbeknownst to you many see talents in you that you take for granted.
Mercury is called the messenger of the Gods.  As Mercury your ruler enters Gemini your solar 10th house of honors, destiny and it will be easier to get your foot in doors normally closed. Superiors acknowledge your superiority.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22):  Virgo as your weekly horoscope begins the Sun is in Taurus your solar 9th house of learning, and legalities. Your strength is a boon and the planets are positioned to give you an amazing and quiet strength for others and those around you to rely on. You are the strong one now! The cycle of Mars has predicted many events and now begins to make aspects to all the outer planets indicting world changes. Mars is the planet of action, and from here on we will have to watch its transit very carefully. In a sexy square, Venus in Aries squares Mars in Cancer. It's funny how the roles are reversed here. Venus the planet of love in the masculine sign of Aries ruled by Mars. Mars in the nurturing and Moon ruled sign of Cancer. Does this suggest that men are rejecting nurturing, and caring mother ers and women are aggressively seeking out passion. This can be a passionate time for your Sun sign and many of you could be thinking about having children! It's a romantic passionate time, stop questioning and analyzing. Love doesn't live under a microscope. The North Node in Aquarius is getting very close to conjoining Neptune ushering in a new spirituality and calling many to take their places in the new age metaphysical world. Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22):  Virgo as your weekly horoscope begins the planet of action and reactions Mars, is in Cancer aspecting Jupiter in Capricorn. This may have you going back and forth in talks, and negotiations. Ever the analyzer avoid picking things apart too much. Don't be afraid to talk things out, just find the best way to bring the other party closer to agreeing with you. Take your time, the planets suggest you'll actually make progress. Just remember love can't exist under a microscope. It can't be negotiated, it has to just be and just be felt. The North and South Nodes which have rulership over our past life karma and our future destiny, are in close aspects to the karmic planet Saturn and Neptune, the planet of dreams and illusions. The South Node in Leo is retracing the transit of Saturn from last year, just like Mars retraced it's transit from September 2007. Since the North Node rules future destiny is moving towards Neptune in Aquarius the sign of hopes and dreams of the future, very significant changes will occur which allow you to blend your past with your future. Virgo:  (Aug. 23-Sep. 22):  Virgo as your weekly horoscope begins the planet Mars in the sign of Cancer, ruler of emotional needs and security is out of it's shadow in your solar 11th house of ex's and friends making this a pivotal time for reconciliations with both. If there ever was a time to let others know how you feel about them it's now. With the Sun, Mercury and Venus in Aries your solar 8th house of intimacy, joint assets, and suffering on account of love affairs you could find this to be a very emotional week when all is said and done! As the Sun squares Jupiter in Capricorn your solar 5th house of love and romance could you finally get what yu've wanted for so long? Could love or reconciliation be in the stars? Yes it could. So don't ruin it by thinking to hard or over analyzing matters. As Pluto in Capricorn is now retrograde along with Saturn retrograde in Virgo, these two earth signs are typically prone to tenseness, stressing out, and becoming hesitant due to fearfulness. Remember though becoming fearful, means it's doubtful you will be able to move forward and it allows others to take advantage, capitalize on or use you. Don't fall into the trap as the aspect improves when Saturn goes direct in early May. In your solar 1st and 5th houses you could even question yourself and you could be on shaky ground as your self esteem has been really shaken. It's going to take some time, but like I said don't cloud your thoughts with fearfulness.

Virgo:  (Aug. 23-Sep. 22): Virgo as your weekly horoscope begins the the zodiac New Year is underway with the New Moon in Aries and the personal planets Mercury and Venus entering the sign of Aries. How does your sun sign begin the zodiac new Year? Well, look for the sign of Aries in your chart.The Sun in Aries squares Mars in Cancer in your solar 11yh house and while it's just hard to get you excited about anything these days, this aspect in your solar 8th house of intimacy, joint assets and suffering could just snap you out of the dull drums with a phone call, visit or message from a past friend or lover. Your ruler, the messenger of the skies Mercury enters Aries your solar house of 8th house of getting rid of garbage, blowing people off and exorcising others from your life. How do you start things? By seemingly cutting others out of your life and starting over abruptly in a new direction, or with a new person. Pluto goes Retrograde in your solar sector of love, romance and happiness. Since Pluto is the natural ruler of your 8th house and that's your new beginnings house, it looks like you might have met your match. It's not so easy this time around to just clean the slate and start a fresh is it? The New Moon in Aries your solar 8th house of joint assets, banking finance suggests you may attempt to start over, making sure you have your financial backing lined up. Or the support of others. As Venus enters Aries, try to get your finances together and begin this zodiac new year perhaps not with a new person but a fresh attitude of self reliance. Money could come your way!

It’s the week of the New Moon and a time of complete renewal of life, spirit, and soul! There's a sense of new energy all around, even Mars moves out of it's shadow on April 5. This means that the planet of action Mars has begun to move through new degrees of Cancer. Up until now Mars has been transiting through the same degrees since late October, For all the broken and broken hearted people out there, don't despair. The North and South Nodes are quietly moving through Aquarius and Leo. I'll remind you that Saturn transited Leo last year and now the South Node is moving through those very same degrees. While Jupiter sows the seeds of new thought through something we read or someone we talk to in sextiles to Uranus and Neptune. Until the time when the South Node conjoins Neptune in May when, Saturn resumes direct motion. We'll feel ready and healed. We realize it's useless to try to forget the past or someone from the past. It's better to try to meld the old with the new into our lives.It can happen with both Neptune and Uranus in each others signs, there's no clear definition of a new dream that doesn't include an old dream. Whatever issues Pluto in Capricorn has raised for you over the past few months, Pluto retrograde intensifies.  Whatever fear you have ignored, worked around, blackmailer or tormentor you haven’t challenged, retrograde Pluto is sure to bring up again and again until you do face your fears, face your challenges and face your tormentors. In the end when Pluto resumes direct motion, Pluto will just take matters into his own hands and that ain' t pretty! Whoever you have hurt, you may come to realize that you too have been hurt! Pluto reminds us that we can't hurt someone without feeling the pain ourselves.
Pluto goes retrograde in Capricorn, the natural ruler of the 10th house. The 10th house rules ruthless  ambition, structure, authority, power and intense falls from grace.  Remember the sign of Capricorn (or the planet Saturn or the 10th house) is concerned with maintaining and preserving structure, and keeping the machinery of our lives running no matter what. Pluto in Capricorn, suggests that people who have influence over others, exert power, control ,govern or in any way tell others what to do, while not minding their own lives will tumble and fall.  Which is fine, if you have a proper handle on the power and influence you yield.  When you decide to use your  influence for your own selfish endeavors it becomes, ruthlessness.  Selfishness easily becomes ruthlessness.  Ruthlessness is punished by the heavens.  Pluto wants to get rid of anyone or anything that threatens it or what it calls garbage.  Pluto is threatened by anyone or anything that wants to take control.  Here in Capricorn Pluto is threatened and deeply fearful and suspicious of anyone who wants to change things.  Exposing our secrets to others is a threatening thing.  Being exposed is a dangerous thing.   It’s as if anywhere you turn there’s someone watching you.
Betrayal is another weapon in Pluto’s arsenal. Yet as Pluto is in Capricorn the stakes are higher. The cut is deeper and the injury more deadly. For a moment we realize that we have been replaced. Once where you held someone’s attention and affection another is in your place, a subtle subversive enemy who you did not chose to put in your life but, because of your love for another is in your life.  Is it love or envy? The battle ensues.  The enemy is unknown to you. Jealousy rages from within and without.  Is it real, is it reality, and is it your reality?
For anyone with cardinal signs in the very first degrees or an axis point in the very first degrees, you are dragged into a battle royal.  A battle not of your choosing, and you do not know your enemy. Such is Pluto retrograde. Everyone seems to be against you and the only people, who are for you, are those just like you.

Virgo:  (Aug. 23-Sep. 22): Virgo as your weekly horoscope begins the planet Mars is in the final degrees of where it retrograded since October 2007 . Let's take a look at what this means. The planet Mars ruler of action in our lives is in Cancer the natural 4th house, the house that rules new beginnings and endings. The 4th house is a wealth building house, a house where we accumulate fixed assets. It can also be a place where we are too emotionally or financially needy or dependent. Look for the sign of Cancer in your Natal birth Chart as this indicates where you can build a solid foundation, wealth and self sufficiency or where you are being too needy towards others. Mars in Cancer offers a unique opportunity to rebuild on a more solid foundation. For Virgo Mars in cancer is transiting your solar 11th house of mentor's influential people, corporate profits, ex's and friends. Mars no doubt has been stirring things up in an effort for you to see the potential here. If you are in business you can certainly boast profits as this is the 2nd house to the 10th. You can add value to your career with a possible promotion or working another deal with your employer. Friends can bring untold blessing to your life. Ex's and in laws can also add to your security. This week the planet Mercury, messenger of the Gods makes some lucky aspect to Jupiter and Uranus. Since mercury is your ruler you will undoubtedly feel the effects in your romantic sector. Jupiter rules legalities, government, the courts, laws and religious tradition (but tradition for traditions sake doesn’t serve society) Capricorn rules structure, and looks to uphold the structure.  So Jupiter in Capricorn is going to be upholding traditions religious and legal and strictly adhering to policy and procedures.  What we refer to as "the sytem". When legal and religious laws become too stifling for the society and people they rule, they must change to accommodate new ideas, new thoughts, growth and discoveries.  Uranus looks for the cracks in these structures to stick a crowbar in and move things apart.  In other words Uranus shows us where the cracks in the structures are.  In the sign of Pisces we are thankful that the crack is there as sort of a release valve.  We find hope.  The sextile Between Jupiter which now becomes expansive and Uranus in Pisces serves to bring hope and a way out of a rigid situation. This aspect can renew your faith in tradition, religion "the sytem" making it fresh, new and meaningful.

The important relationship between Pluto in Capricorn, Neptune in Aquarius and Uranus in Pisces your solar 5th, 6th and 7th houses. So it's important that we keep our focus on the dynamics of these houses. Against that backdrop, Venus in Pisces trines Mars in Cancer your solar 7th house and 11th house, creating the right environment for relationships and possible reunions with ex's. You are open to seeing loved ones and ex lovers, as their memories are strong. As Mercury opposes Saturn, in Pisces and Virgo, it's important to note that Saturn is transiting very close to the South node, who is re-tracing Saturn's footsteps in Leo, the sign that rules the 5th house of love and romance, memories are once again stirred up. As the Sun enters Aries it's the Spring Equinox, the zodiac's new year. Aries is your solar 8th house of rejuvenation and rebirth, your sign is blessed to be able to pick themselves up from the depths of despair and start over. With so many of the personal planets entering your solar 7th house of relationships, and relating to others on a grander scale you have many things yet to overcome. Mercury your ruling planet conjoins Neptune, in your solar 6th house of work, responsibilities and deadlines. You are set to get yourself in hot water and just frustrated if you are too easily influenced by others or too easily pulled in different directions. Whose life are you living yours or someone else's? As the planet of love Venus enters Pisces the sign of it's exaltation, you have the potential of bringing love to everyone's life. Not giving in to the demands of other's and their whims is going to be tough. As Venus sextiles Pluto you'll begin to learn that you can love and love unconditionally and still keep a part of your identity. Risks pay off. Take chances in getting to know all the people who enter your life as there could be a real gem somewhere close to you. Mercury enters Pisces, and your popularity soars. I have written this week about retrograde Saturn and you are probably wondering why.  When I looked at the planets this week and saw that Mars is re-entering Cancer and then opposing Pluto in Capricorn, well then it made sense to me that I have to include a string reference to retrograde Saturn ruler of Capricorn. Looking back to when Mars was first in Cancer way back in late September 2007, I noticed that Saturn was at the very same degrees that it is now. A heavy influence in the sign of detached Aquarius with the Sun, Chiron, retrograde Mercury and the North Node, the forward moving destiny timer, suggests a more detached, impersonal Valentines Day is more probable. Virgo has Aquarius intercepted as their solar 6th house. This just puts more emphasis on your Sun sign and it's attributes of hard work, service to others, responsibilities that sometimes don't belong to you, and the feeling of being under appreciated and rightfully so. The North Node at 27°Aquarius and the South Node 27° Leo are sextile and trine the planet Mars in Gemini. Here Mars is still in his shadow, retracing the steps he made in September.
