The Aries personality is fiery and warm, passionate and self-expressive with an urge to act NOW! This is NOT a patient sign, everything is done on impulse, and with great urgency. However give Aries a good cause for which to fight, a problem to solve, or something to pioneer, and this enterprising personality comes into its own. The Negative Points

Strangely enough for this very active sign, one of its main failings is laziness . Aries is extremely impatient and intolerant of delay . Aries is likely to put off what must be done, (like bills and tax returns!). Aries will resort to lies rather than be inconvenienced by the uninteresting, or be forced to do that which they do not want to do . Arians can be blunt, ignorantly offensive, or employ bullying tactics to selfishly get their own way. Selfish, unsubtle, impulsive, rash, quick tempered, impatient, quarrelsome, aggressive.

Aries Profession

As a fire sign, you will need to have an exciting job, and able to be a leader that enthuses and motivates people . You have the ability and motivation to translate thoughts into actions, and hence to initiate any project from the beginning, but not always the interest or energy to continue to see it through to the end and certainly you will never be the one to tie up loose ends .

Aries is the first Sign of the Zodiac, and that is how those born under this Sign see themselves. Arians are the leaders of the pack, they are always first in line to get things going. Whether or not everything gets done is another question altogether, as Arians prefer to initiate than complete. Do you have a project in need of a kick-start? Call an Arian, by all means. The leadership displayed by Arians is most impressive, so don't be surprised if they can rally the troops against seemingly insurmountable odds. This is because they are extremely charismatic. Arians don't shy away from new ground, either. Those born under this Sign are often called the pioneers of the Zodiac, and it's their fearless trek into the unknown which often wins the day. Arians are a bundle of energy and dynamism and the Pied Pipers of their people. The dawning of a new day, and all its possibilities, is pure bliss to an Arians.
It is the Ram that symbolises Aries, and that's both good and bad news. Impulsive Arians (and there are more than a few) might be tempted to ram their ideas down someone else's throat. This method can achieve important goals for everyone. But, it's those times when an Arian force-feeds an idea for no apparent reason, that we wish this Sign's symbol were a more subdued creature. Regardless, the sheer force of Aries can accomplish a great deal. Much of this drive to the finish line has to do with the Cardinal Quality assigned to Arians. Cardinal Signs love to get things going, and Arians exemplify this better than all the others
Arians are ruled by the Planet Mars. Taking a peek at Roman mythology, we find that Mars was the God of War. Our man Mars was unafraid to do battle, and much the same can be said for Arians. These folks are bold, aggressive and courageous. They can summon up the inner strength required to take on almost anyone, and they'll probably win. Aries do not lack energy or vitality, and they can stay in the game longer than most anyone else. Now, that's a winning edge. Rams are also, for the most part, independent and well aware of their own interests in a given situation. This sometimes myopic view may not be for everyone, but it does help Arians get things going. Furthermore, their competitive natures ensure that they play the game with zeal and vigour. Though their approach may be construed at times as arrogant and domineering, it does take a lot of focus to be a leader (or so an Arian would say). Sadly, the Arian won't usually be around for the final victory (defeat? - never!). More than likely, these folks will have bolted to the next project before the first one is done.
The Element associated with Aries is Fire. This results in constant action, enthusiasm and a burning desire to play the game. Arians love physicality, so they will not sit on the sidelines for long, if at all. They jump into the fray, full force, and will contribute a great deal in the process. Talk about eager! Even though some of their decisions may later prove to have been hasty, you will hardly ever find an Arian who regrets giving something a try.
Making things happen is the most important thing for these people. Arians are also unafraid of stepping onto new terrain. The challenge inherent in taking on the unknown is heaven on Earth for Rams. They may appear arrogant when they take on the world, but they'll be quick to tell you it's the only way to go. There is no point in arguing with the common Arian refrain, 'me first', since, in their minds, they are first. Is this unbridled ego? Maybe, but that might be what it takes to blaze a new trail. Oh, and on the subject of arguing, it's the Ram who will have the last word, so save your breath.
Arians play as hard as they work. These folks are happiest playing a spirited game of football or engaging in the martial arts. In the game of love, the Ram's ardour is unquestioned, although Arians can also be playful and romantic with their mate. With Aries ruling the mind, those born under this Sign need to be on the lookout for headaches, and are well-served by taking the occasional deep breath. The Ram's colour is bright red, a sure sign of the fire that breathes within.
The great strength of the Aries-born is in their initiative, courage and determination. They love to get things going, and are fearless along the way. Their dynamism and competitive spirit add considerably to any projects they undertake.
