Year AHead 2021 Forecast
As 2021 gets underway, the planets, Jupiter and Saturn, have entered the sign of Aquarius. Each one of these planets has a different influence. Jupiter is better placed in Aquarius as he is now in a sign that sextiles the sign Jupiter naturally rules, Sagittarius. In 2020 Jupiter was in Capricorn, Fall, where it was difficult for Jupiter's optimism and expansion to flourish. In the sign, he ruled (Capricorn), Saturn was strong in 2020 and was free to slow things down and delay progress. In 2021 Saturn will still have a strong influence in your life as he transits through the sign of Aquarius. Saturn is the ancient ruler of the sign of Aquarius before the current ruler, the planet Uranus was discovered. The sign of Aquarius to this day carries many of the traits instilled in it by Saturn.
Jupiter in Aquarius will be more social than we experienced in 2020. Saturn may still put restrictions on socializing, but we'll manage much better if we all follow the scientific logic. Although friendships may have changed over the last year because of less social involvement, people moving, passing away, and less inclined to go out and about will be different. You might have to forge new friendships or find yourself in social circles that are more limited. We will all be concerned with our communities and what's right for the public good. Large events could start up again, but they might start with limited capacity, not at full capacity. People may be more thoughtful and happiness easier to obtain. Logic prevails, and it's free debate and what's suitable for everyone, not what's right for big business or specific individuals. Uranus continues its transits in Taurus (Fall) and receives robust squares from Jupiter, Saturn, with Mars in Taurus in January. The fixed signs speak of those trying to undermine the common good, financial markets, trying to hang on to their money or influential positions to the extreme. Saturn will square Uranus three times during 2021. Slow and dedicated determination will make some rich. Just like in 2020, your determination to succeed and put in the time are rewarded. Typically, Saturn square Uranus is a predictor of health concerns, and we know this square will extend through December 2021. This square also influences the financial markets and your finances. That certainly means Covid-19 may be a concern in 2021. This square can bring social upheaval, rioting, acts of nature, earthquakes, uprisings, and when in effect a (3 times in 2021) a disregard for human rights, radical behavior, and destruction.
Jupiter being more productive in the sign of Aquarius provides a beneficial influence and briefly enters Pisces sign during the 2nd Saturn square Uranus. June could be a standout month, when kindness, sympathy, and a desire to help those less fortunate marks the summer months. Many good things may have come out of the pandemic, as I predicted in my 2019 Horoscope Guides. Uranus in Taurus would force us to stop and smell the roses. In Pisces, Jupiter suggests that we may be more inclined to vacations and a certain quality of leisure life. While 2020 will be considered an Anus Horribilus, some good has come out of it. 2021 should be a stepping stone towards better times and a full recovery!
Aries: With so many irons in the fire and numerous things you could focus on, you have to choose one lucrative road or path forward. It won't be easy since you're unwilling to give up anything you put time into and gave your best efforts in 2020. Jupiter and Saturn open your life to new friends, acquaintances, and alliances, but new friends are not close friends. You may not be readily embraced or taken into other's inner circles quickly. Unless you are an Aries who has learned to flow easily in and out of social circles, your feelings could get hurt. In 2021 make as many social and career connections as possible, but close friends may be few and far between. That may be Ok when you understand just how many invitations you may get because of your successes.
Taurus: Get ready to trip the light fantastic once again as Uranus goes direct. Of course, he's going to go over things from June 2020 to make sure there's nothing you forgot. Once Uranus enters new degrees, it's time for another new direction that is quite frankly all about you and right on cue for your Birthday. It should be quite an exciting Solar Return. You'll flourish in the areas of technology, advanced sciences, communications, energy, and emerging sciences. Like a recorder or mirror, you reflect the knowledge that comes to you and can use it productively. All this leads to a new career, profession, or business.
Gemini: After a year of not being sure what the future held for you, it helps that Jupiter and Saturn are now in Aquarius, another air sign. Both planets will be transiting through your fortunate 9th house, Jupiter's domain. You may decide to travel more, take more classes, pursue your education, and do all those things you wanted to do but couldn't do. The planets free you of romantic obsessions, some financial responsibilities, and feeling that your life was idle or Park. It's time to decide what your future looks like and to pursue your dreams. Success is within your reach as the planets are climbing in your chart.
Cancer: Many things probably changed over the last year when you experienced many planets in your 7th house, a pivotal house. For some, relationships pr another person was a driving force in your life. Some of you may have experienced a lack of relationship options. While the planet Pluto is still in your 7th house of relationships, from time to time, you'll still experience "relationship hell." For the most part, financial issues need to be ironed out as Jupiter and Saturn transit your 8th house. Pluto rules the 8th house, so issues about money, your partner's financial condition, or character come up. Avoid taking new relationships too fast. Let's not forget the little green monster jealousy. Overall, Jupiter will make sure you gain financially through others while Saturn demands you act responsibly with your finances.
Leo: having been strapped with responsibilities that probably weren't yours, to begin with, you're now free to pursue new dreams and goals. Alongside you are staunch friends and loyalists, at least for a while. People tend to go their way and do their own thing over time, even you, Leo. In 2021, your most personal relationships and perhaps your marriage will be tested and weighed. No worries, you'll be so busy and in-demand, you'll hardly notice that you've grown apart from those you were once so close to and saw every day.
Virgo: relationships have been front and center for what seems like forever. Relationship feast or famine has made you long for the simple life and jus some special that you can count on to be your plus one. Maybe not your ride or die, just someone you see regularly and whose life fits in with yours like a glove. If your family is on board and gives their blessing, well, that's a plus. You're off in a new direction in 2021 with a new routine, job, and responsibilities. You may be on-call and need to keep your time free for what you want to do. You have your ideas about health and wellness and don't need criticism from anyone.
Libra: having Mars in your relationship zone for half of 2020 put a glitch in your romantic plans. Relationships fell under the umbrella of work or convenience, or maybe long distance. You've attracted dynamic, aggressive, pushy types or, in some cases, very sexy types. Alas, Mars brings passion but not commitment. No worries, after being in lockdown for what has seemed like forever, you're ready to rock n roll 2021. Jupiter and Saturn are in Aquarius, an air sign like you and transiting your fortunate 5th house. You could fall in love and commit. More than likely, you'll play the field.
Scorpio: by now, you know to trust your intelligence and know-how. You probably spent the last two years wondering if you were right or wrong and afraid at times to trust your inner genius or judgment. The planets Jupiter and Saturn are at the bottom of your chart (the 4th house), and the universe challenges you to be financially and emotionally independent. It is a critical time to push yourself to overcome the little voice inside of you that says, "I can't do this or I don't know how," and change that to "Yes, I can." No worries, Jupiter is here, and you can always rely upon him for a little cosmic push and good luck. You may take on more financially, purchase a home, and enjoy a better lifestyle.
Sagittarius: the winds of change are on the way! People will listen to your great ideas, and you'll find the right people who get you and are on your wavelength. In love, it's time to laugh and enjoy life with someone who isn't talking or thinking about money or business all the time. You have little time or patience for those who don't see things your way in 2021. It would help if you had fast thinkers around you because, in 2021, life moves faster. Don't try to do everything on your own but delegate menial tasks to others. Keep your mate or partner focused.
Capricorn: Having your ruler Saturn disciplining your every move for the last two years or so hasn't been fun. It has been productive, and you probably feel much more substantial and more decisive. Perhaps you were forced to be extra patient and extra responsible. Now, the planets enter your fixed houses, and you become more fixed or stubborn about money matters and getting your way. You gain through your uniqueness and talents, so don't let anyone sell you short. The planets have taught that life is short; live it with gusto. You take chances and invest in yourself in a big way in 2021. Some will call you a Diva!
Aquarius: everything changes with Jupiter and Saturn in your Sun sign. Jupiter brings a new 12-year maturity and learning cycle, and Saturn brings a new big life 28-year karmic cycle. Perhaps you are forced to take on significant responsibilities, to work harder, and turn your back on life as you've known it. Maybe you walk away from someone who's wasting your time. You're more courageous, so it will take others time to get used to the new you. If you let others walk all over you in the past, that's over. You might feel that you have your Mojo back. In 2021 the planets show you that you are made of steel, not fluff. You can do anything.
Pisces:
you're finishing a karmic cycle. The planet Jupiter makes it easier to
deal with health issues that have been nagging you. With Jupiter and
Saturn in Aquarius, your solar sector of karmic completion, it's time to
look around, keep yourself busy, and clean the slate, preparing for
when the planets enter your Sun sign. In 2021, don't let minor things
that weigh heavy on your mind weigh you down. Fix them and move on to
the next thing. During the summer, you'll have a chance to see how
you're resetting your life. You could coast through 2021, or you could
accomplish great things that change how you look and how you feel.
