Mercury Retrograde

When the planet Mercury goes retrograde, its effects are less effective than when the planet is direct. What does that mean? Retrogrades are good for taking your time, not rushing, learning things thoroughly and researching and asking questions, getting a lot of opinions, and buying time. Mercury retrograde is good for anything with RE in front of it—for instance, redoing, reworking, reviewing, reconfiguring, reinvestigating, revitalizing, reassessing, renegotiating, and reflecting. When Mercury is in its storm, the planet is nearing retrograde or coming out of retrograde, and its movements are slower. This is still good for things that require our time and effort and, in many cases, keep us from making mistakes; if our processes are slower, we will approach people, things, and new ventures more carefully and with much more patience and patience thought. This is needed in the case of research.
Mercury, its shadow it, is repeating the degrees of the retrograde period. The theory goes that we will repeat the events or experiences that took place during the repeated degrees. A planet makes its first pass, goes retrograde, and makes its 2nd pass over the same degrees, has two retrograde degree points, known as it's station or stationary points or stationary degrees and repeats the same degrees once more in its 3rd pass through. Approximately 3 times per year the planet Mercury appears to go in apparent retrograde motion; this usually lasts for about 18 days. Do's and Don'ts of Mercury Retrograde

Don't sign documents, binding contracts, leases, buy property, incorporate, make promises, commit to partnerships, a new relationship, start a new relationship, go on a first date, or get married, If you can help it. It's a redo or do-over time. But you might not have a choice and have to do one or some of these things. If that's the case, accept that you might have to do these things over again, re-file paperwork that comes back to you for a signature or some error you made.
