Astrology in the News: Uranus entered Gemini at 8:50 pm ET last night, the element of surprise was at work as the Moon squared beneficial Venus and Uranus shortly after. So, Venus, a beneficial planet, offered her protection! Thank you, Venus! Looking back, when Uranus previously entered Gemini back in 2025, and according to reports from 2025, there were several high-profile assassination attempts and acts of political violence, especially in the United States, when Uranus previously entered Gemini. A significant increase in "lone gunman" attacks targeted officials, making 2025 a year marked by heightened political violence.

• Assassination of Charlie Kirk (September 10, 2025): Conservative activist and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was shot and killed at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. A sniper fatally shot him in the neck during a "Prove Me Wrong" event in the campus courtyard. Tyler James Robinson was arrested and charged with the assassination.
• Border Patrol Murder-for-Hire Plot (October 2025): U.S. Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino was the alleged target of a failed $10,000 murder-for-hire plot.
• Security Incidents Involving Donald Trump (Late 2025): Several security incidents were reported, including:
• September 2025: An incident involving a security lapse at the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, where a loaded firearm passed through screening.
• October 16, 2025: Discovery of a suspicious elevated hunting stand with a direct line of sight to Air Force One in Palm Beach, Florida.
• September 2025: Ryan Wesley Routh, who was apprehended in September 2024 at Trump International Golf Club, went on trial for the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, was later found guilty, and sentenced to life in prison. Courtesy of Wikipedia

There were also many school shootings during this time when Uranus entered Gemini.

• August 27, 2025: A shooting occurred at a church, which also hosts an elementary school, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
• October 10, 2025: A shooting at Heidelberg High School during a homecoming event resulted in three deaths.
• December 2, 2025: An incident was reported at Phillip and Sala Burton Academic High School.
• December 11, 2025: An incident was reported at Skyline High School.
• December 12, 2025: Incidents were reported at Stephenson High School and Stewartville High School.
• December 13, 2025: A shooting occurred at Brown University, resulting in two deaths and nine injuries.

Today's Moon in Virgo passes through the Lunar South Node, which can bring up things you are trying to get away from. Things you might want to avoid. These are things you worry about, or that are very personal to you, and that give you a tummy ache! So maybe eat light or stick to a diet of whole grains and veggies today. What else is going on today? Her ladyship Venus, a beneficial planet, wants to talk to and reconnect with old friends she used to talk to. Hoping to find the same warmth as she found in the past. The planet of communication, Mercury in Aries, has other ideas as it squares over-the-top Jupiter in Cancer, looking for emotional reassurance. This reminds you that you can travel down a familiar road or dial a familiar number, but it can't take you back in time because things have changed.

Capricorn, ultimately, your future success may be tied to helping others navigate through difficult times, drama in their lives, crises, accidents, and unexpected events that may occur. As soon as you get comfortable with being the steady one and having to help, heal, or fix things, you'll be better off. Some of you might feel discouraged when someone needs your help, as it can take up your time and may not seem beneficial for you.
