In 2020 the planet of love, matrimony, and beauty, the ruler of women goes retrograde spending a lot of time in the sign of Gemini.  Here in Gemini, Venus is a charming flirt and is known to have dueling relationships going at the same time.  It may sound cliché but it’s the summer romances that have your attention this year.

Not to be outdone, the red-hot planet Mars goes retrograde.  Is it just to get even?  In Aries, the sign he rules Mars plunges into frisky passionate escapades at his whim.  Committing to know one Mars is sexy and impulsive, following his hormones in 2020!

Aries: while you’re all business in 2020 opting to find a lover, who helps with the bills or opens career doors for you, during the summer months it’s a different ball game entirely!  You toy with an on-again, 0ff again love affair and find it’s hard to decide what to do about your romantic life.  Not knowing if you're in or out, you find yourself in romantic limbo and making excuses for your love interest.  Boredom sets in and you get your Mojo back during your Birthday month and decide you’re worth loving.  You catch the Venus love bug and during the summer months, you consider yourself a professional flirt!  An online or telephone romance could be in your stars.  You look young so you attract a younger herd of lovers.  Or is it that you just don’t want to open your life to someone again.  You keep things light and keep your personal life to yourself.  It truly will be the Summer of love.  It won’t be until October that you decide on one love in particular.  But even then, you question your decision.  Too many lovers too little time safely describes your romantic year ahead.

Taurus: Who doesn’t love a Taurus Bull?  You’re cozy, cuddly and give amazing gifts.  As in money no object gifts, when you’re truly smitten.  There’s just one glitch in 2020, you are super sensitive, in your head a lot and not the best communicator.  You could lose many a romantic opportunity or take chit chat too seriously.  In short, you have to get over feeling picked on.  While it’s true you’re working on some amazing projects, innovations and truly focused on getting ahead 2020 can bring lots of romance for you.  Your challenge is not to be all about your work, your career, or your business.  That’s going to be tough.  The planet Uranus will on occasion remind you to look up and standing right in front of you is the guy or gal of your dreams.  It’s a sweet romance one that makes you so shy.  Why it’s like you’re falling in love for the first time!  Maybe you are.  It’s the springtime that awakens your romantic urges in a big way.  It might be love, at first sight.  You’re all in.  that’s until your money-making impulses that come hard-wired with every Taurus kick in.  You might neglect your perfect love and second the rest of the year trying to win him or her over again.

Gemini: Get ready it’s going to be quite the romantic year.  You might not be looking for your runoff the mill romance.  You have strong desires for sure.  You’re another Sun sign who’s looking for someone to add something to their life or help them out of a financial dilemma or challenging situation.  Let’s face it you’re not your usual glib or casual self either.  Not since there are all those heavy and intense planets in your 8th house.  Getting naked makes you feel judged and self-conscious.  Opening your life to another person might give you the hives.  That’s unless you’re used to getting naked for a living.  Probably not.  These same planets make you a lot to handle.  Not everyone is up to the task.  The good news is you come out of your cocoon and transform from a caterpillar chewing destructively on leaves, to an amazing and gorgeous butterfly who goes from flower to lovely flower.  You finally capture the heart and the soul of someone who can get you out of a financial dilemma and open doors for you.   He or she is not so demanding on you either and that’s a bonus. 

Cancer: You’ve had plenty of time to see what others are all about.  In 2020 you don’t need another person to help or more responsibilities.  Sure, that’s what you’re Sun sign does best, help others but in 2020 you’ll make a shift and avoid the more needy types.  It makes it or break for all your current relationships.  You can be sure that if a relationship survives 2020 it’s can survive anything.  So far, you’ve endured almost everything a person can go through in your personal life.  Intense love, the relationship from hell, betrayals and alone time, and someone loving you far more than you have loved him or her.  There’s always some responsibility attached to your relations.  In 2020 you begin to give a little less and expect a little more.  All that sounds daunting doesn’t it?  No worries, only the strongest and most pure relationships survive with you in 2020.  That means if you’ve learned your lesson, you’ll make wiser choices and hold out for the perfect lover.  The Summer Eclipse and rare 2nd New Moon force a decision about your personal life.  You may trade in one model for a new and better one.

Leo: you have a critical eye this year and it only gets worse.  This spills over into your romantic life and you’ll have to choose more wisely.  While it’s true you love a love story, Cinderella and Snow-White stories come to mind.  You also mistakenly think anyone can play those leading man or leading lady roles.   Does that mean you change leading men or leading ladies?  It might.  Don’t be surprised then when no one takes you seriously.  People get the memo that they’re replaceable after a few hours with you.  Not everyone can or will put up with your critical eye towards detail and eye towards perfection.  You too are very ambitious this year, and in your own lion or lioness way fierce.  This summer you too slow down a little and take a break.  You find your spiritual center at a wonderful spa and figure out what it’s all about.  You’re renewed by August and set aside your differences and submit your heart to someone special.  Until then avoid being confrontational and be competitive in a healthier way.  You realize if you want loyalty you have to be willing to give it.

Virgo: You may be looking for new experiences, serious new experiences that is.  You value the history you have with someone.  Maybe your love interest doesn’t share that view with you.  Time in a relationship doesn’t matter to some if they’re not happy.  You face the most challenges of all the zodiac signs because of the intense planetary line up in your 5th house of love and romance.  I’ll concede that eventually those same planets can bring and will bring amazing love or romance to you.  It’s just what you have to go through to get that soul connection is tiring.   Is it also about loving yourself just as much as you love your kids or someone else?  The word responsibility isn’t usually associated with love or is it?  If you love someone and commit to him or her you are taking on responsibility and love without responsibility is empty.  However, your plate is already full of responsibilities.  A new love interest may see that your life and time is already spoken for.  Make room for love and it will come.

Libra: As a cardinal Sun sign you are hemmed in a little by the stellium of planets and heavy hitters in the sign of Capricorn.  They cast a shadow on your Sun sign from your solar sector of emotions, privacy, and inability to trust new people unless they’ve gone through a background check or at least a good Google search.  But of course, that changes in 2020.  You come out of your Groundhog burrow right around Ground Hog Day and things look different.  The landscape looks fun and there are lots of things to do.  Your ruler Venus takes it upon herself to keep your social life very busy with new adventures that get you out of the house.  You’re lamenting over the one who got away is replaced with an exciting new lover who takes you on amazing trips and opens your life up again.  There’s just one catch, you might not be in the mood to commit as Mars retrogrades in your relationship and marriage zone.  No worries he’ll wait around until you’re ready!

Scorpio: relationships are always complicated for Scorpio because the sign that rules relationships and getting along is your 12th house of secrets, sorrows, and losses.  Young Scorpios should know this and take this very seriously to avoid those karmic pitfalls in the future.   You are a very intense Sun sign and once betrayed you seek revenge or to make the offender suffer in some way.  You’re also very influential and can cast a spell or hypnotize your lover into total submission.  Not only have you battled with an ex but you’ve also battled with trying to convince h or her you’re right and that you’re the right one for him or her.  It’s relentless and persistent even though you might not see it in yourself.  You do take or jump on every opportunity, holiday, or anniversary to get someone’s attention.  Yours is the most complicated romantic life of the zodiac because it’s ruled over now by the outer planets.  You might think you’re in control of your romantic life but you’re not.  They are.  What’s a Scorpio to do?  Let go and let the planets guide you to love. 

Sagittarius: You have lots of intense planets in your 2nd house of money, wealth and self-esteem, and personal values.  That puts a big emphasis on relating to yourself through your possessions, your car, jewelry, or fixed assets.  They are kind of like a calling card or personal advertisements.  So, don’t be at all surprised when someone comes buzzing around you and is interested in what you have not who you are.  Let’s take care of that this year.  You will, of course, you will.  The South Node makes it all about you and the North Node brings in a new relationship that’s based on intellectual compatibility.  Or it might be a student-teacher relationship where you teach someone younger the ways of the world.  Not everyone will approve of it!  This disapproval makes you seek out more dating opportunities with both Venus and Mars taking turns and retrograding in your relationship and dating zones.  Settle down?  Not in 2020.  You’ll be having too much fun to settle down.

Capricorn: With you hogging up all the planetary transits this year, of course, it’s all about you.  You wouldn’t have it any other way.  You’ve worked hard on yourself and are ready for the attention when it comes.  It’s like a wave and it comes in waves.  During the low tides, work on yourself and when the wave of attention comes, you’ll be ready for it!  These planets in Capricorn are very serious though and you too may look very serious so lighten up and smile more.  There are two New Moons over the summer that brings ample opportunity for a committed relationship.  So, if you miss one opportunity there will be another or a 2nd chance right behind it!  There’s just one catch it’s hard to share the spotlight and allow someone else to be more important than you.  It’s going to take someone very special to get you to move over a little bit!  No problem, Uranus has some ideas and just might bring someone new into your life that has their own potential, money and can hold their own against you and your accomplishments.

Aquarius: hopefully the planets in your 12th house have done their work and sufficiently prepared you for a new beginning and new cycle of experiences.  Maybe or maybe not.  Just when you get the strength to move on from a love interest and aren’t afraid of being by yourself, he or she senses it and wants back in your life.  So, you oblige him or her and go backward.  Back into something that didn't work out before.  At least this time It’s not you begging for a 2nd chance it’s him or her.  You might have to give up that cutie you just started dating.  Nonetheless, you’ve come a long way and the next time Saturn says “Come on let’s go” you do so with a clear conscious knowing it can’t work out.  You might have to pick up the phone and call that cutie back.  This year everything is working towards a new love and new experiences that are fun and lighter.  Allow the new chapter to get momentum and move onwards and upwards.  Keep your options open for love in 2020.

Pisces: Since your life takes on its own momentum its’ exciting and every day holds the possibility of new love, new flirtation, or romantic affair.  Delicious.  That’s your ruler Neptune for you!  You have something elusive that others see in you.  You’re like a dream.  In many ways, you seem unattainable.  It’s certain in 2020 someone will become entrapped in your cloud.  However, it’s hard for you to notice, you’re wrapped up in Neptune’s dream world too.  He’s spinning all manner of golden ideas for you to work on.  This summer an eclipse in your romance zone foretells of the perfect person and forever lover coming your way.  You want to make perfect dreamy memories so you opt to do the courtship the right way.  You’ll date, go to nice places, rowboats in the pond and having nice romantic dinners.  If things go well you might decide to cohabitate or move in together.  It’s in a word, “serious”.
