Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, founder of the Isha Foundation, broke down in tears after announcing that 80 members of his group were lost in catastrophic flash floods along the Nepal–Tibet border. The pilgrimage cost US$ 2,750–$2,800 for the full program to alleviate your sins. The disaster struck on the return journey from the sacred Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage, when the group was at the Gyirong immigration center, and the floodwaters swept away the entire building in seconds. August is the sacred month of Shravan, dedicated to Lord Shiva.
