Daily Horoscope for Libra (and Libra Rising)

Libra (Sept.22-Oct 23): Libra: Happy International Peace Day! What a week we have ahead of us! Today the Moon is in Capricorn, a serious Moon sign and some might add a Moon sign that's just all business. you have to get a grip on your feelings and not reject someone or jump to conclusions about a romantic partner. You're running hot and cold and you're on and off with someone who is touching you deeply and bringing up all your deepest and rawest emotions. But as the Moon changes sign, something culminates or comes to a head because the Sun heads towards the fated degree of Virgo. This is where things come to a head and will enter Libra tomorrow for the Fall Equinox and the Autumn shift. You get mad and angry, want to deflect and blame someone who is not involved because heaven forbid you blame the one you love for leading you on. You are in a very gray area because you might not have the patience required of you to get through this relationship fire zone or swamp.

This is a significant movement and time for the Sun and you. As the Sun is about to fall in to your Sun sign it's critical. Perhaps you feel a chapter is ending in your life and you get to move on or put something behind you. Also, don't complain or stir things up at this critical juncture. But guided by the Sun you will find our balance and happiness rest assured.
The Moon changes signs and enters electric Aquarius and almost immediately the planet of communications and information Mercury has something to tell you. Mercury in Libra wants to tell you what opportunities Jupiter in Leo has for you. Some of those opportunities are romantic, of course, and some open the lines of communication with someone new. There can be a sense of freedom today, even if something bad happens. Some can be relieved of a bad relationship or situation and feel a sense of relief. You realize you jumped to conclusions and may owe someone an apology.

Sunday: The Moon is in Capricorn, ruled by Saturn Rx, who is in Aries. Things can get loud and perhaps frustrating. Rebellious types could get more vocal and disruptive as all the asteroids and Mercury and Mars, Neptune Rx, and Saturn Rx clash and bring stress to a head. Be careful, as disagreements, shouting matches, and disruptions are possible. Don't push anyone over the edge and steer clear of someone who wants to blame you for their past actions, make you responsible for their bad decision-making, or has an out-of-control ego. It can happen! The planet Saturn Rx, ruler of leadership, power, father figures, old men, and authority figures, is being called out for unwise decision-making. This can be translated as you reviewing your career or professional decisions. It is also scarcity. ©
Astrology and Economics: The Great Depression lasted roughly 10 years, beginning with the 1929 stock market crash and continuing until about 1939, with some measures extending recovery into the early 1940s. Uranus was in Aries where Neptune Rx, and Saturn Rx are now. Midway through the Great Depression, the planet Jupiter was in Leo, the ruler of the stock markets and speculation. ©

Saturday: The Moon is in Capricorn, ruled by Saturn on a day that's also ruled by Saturn, the father of time and aging. Everything has a purpose today, and in matters of the heart, lovers are thinking, "Where's this going?" Or "What's the potential long-term?" You haven't got time to waste. Some long to get out of a rut or routine that's too inhibiting or boring. This is an important time for Libra because in a mere three days the Sun escapes the confines of your 12th house of the subconscious mind and enters your Sun sign where secrets are revealed and revelations made. You might have to change if you've expected too much or felt important enough to demand attention form others. Let's be honest shall we? You have relationship issues so says not me, but Neptune rx, Saturn Rx, Pallas Rx, Vesta Rx, Eris Rx and now Chiron Rx, Ugh. And what you will find is you will lose the attention of important people and at some point in the future regret it! Avoid complaining or demanding to be heard.
The planet of love, money, marriage, beauty, and wealth, Venus in Scorpio (Detriment) inconjuncts the planet of sudden changes, the desire for something new, and youthfulness, Uranus RX in Gemini at 5°.  This aspect will be a repetitive one. It can bring rejuvenation and make you look younger.
Uranus RX in Gemini also rules communications to the masses, and today Apollon in Scorpio and Admetos in Gemini, two trans-Neptunian objects (TNO) also inconjunct each other and will also influence Venus in Scorpio (Detriment) inconjunct Uranus RX and in the news, MS Now has been banned from the White House. In Gemini, Admetos represents weight, stillness, and any energy that is obstructed or weighing you down. It's communications, transactions, commerce, access to news, or fairness in algorithms, and AI technology. Opposite Apollon it's perhaps what you will sacrifice to live. Do you feel blocked today or frustrated? Are communications blocked? Since Venus will retrograde, you might experience this inconjunct a few more times, and all it brings on Oct. 16th and Dec. 18th. Inconjuncts are messy aspects and require things to be dealt with immediately.

Friday: The Moon is in Sagittarius and the Sun is in Virgo, and when the two connect at 25° the 2nd Qtr. Moon phase commences, with a time when things get hectic. You might have to lower your expectations of others or be disappointed. Heavy family responsibilities or something at home has you stuck and it's Friday! Maybe you wait for a delivery or guest who never shows up. Maybe you opt to stay home because of bad weather. It could be anything.

There's more pressure on you to do more over the next week as the Moon grows to Full. The universe says, "Hurry!" Of course, there are moments when the Sagittarius Moon and all of its enthusiasm and desire for adventure and change gets tamped down by, of course, the practical Virgo Sun and Mars in Cancer (Fall) where everyone is on the defensive and feels the need to protect themselves. Libra is stressed about career, business or domestic matters. The Sun in your 12th house says don;t give up but get ready! It's almost your Solar Return a time when everything changes. Guess what Mars will not be in Cancer forever only a few more weeks. Mars in Cancer is all about the struggle to keep what you have already done or obtained. Mars in domestic Cancer is out of place. Soldiers don't belong in the home, or on the streets, and war causes domestic distress.  And that is not an opinion; it is the description of Mars in Cancer (Fall).  Fortunately, Mars will change signs soon but start 2027 retrograde. Maybe that is some kind of unstable occupation of another country. Or another assassination attempt on a world leader. Or a change in leadership. Manage your relationships and even someone's coldness towards you. ©.

Astrology in the news: Celine Dion's Miraculous Comeback!  Celine Dion, while being an Aries, is also a 2° Leo Rising, which of course brings the star quality to her chart. She admitted in her Prime Documentary I Am Celine that she had used Valium to suppress her symptoms and kept working before she was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome. Well, it's right there in her birth chart: Capricorn, 6th house, with Pluto having transited into tenacious and hardworking Capricorn from Nov.27, 2008, to Jan. 21, 2024, with a brief entry into Aquarius between March and June 2023. Pluto never leaves an astrological house the same way he found it! So, what happened here? Pluto left Capricorn and transited her 7th house cusp, changed signs and entered Aquarius into the 7th house, a more public astrological house, and changed everything for her. Never underestimate those house cusps! Soon, she will have her Jupiter Return, a new 12 years cycle. She will need to pace herself and not go overboard!  This is a new chapter in her life, with the planets having given her a new respect for her more spiritual side and a better work-life balance. Thursday: The Moon is in Sagittarius, a fire sign that's just the spark you need to put your ideas into action. It's one of those days when you find yourself jumping up and running errands or shopping. Some of you might even opt to eat at a fancy restaurant alone. Yes alone. And coincidentally today is Thursday, and Thursdays are ruled by Sagittarius' ruling planet, Jupiter. Jupiter adds to your spark and doing things with friends that are perhaps on the wild side or the more luxurious side. Libra says YOLO!

It's the Moon in Sagittarius that welcomes Chiron Rx back into Aries and lets Saturn Rx know first! Maybe you must deal with a father figure, big client, or an authority figure, or something related to your career or professional life from June when Chiron first entered Taurus and you needed to get your finances together or make a financial change.  Libra has to adjust to the coldness they sometimes feel from someone they are besotted with. You might think you get treated favorably or there's favoritism directed towards yo and that can be true some of the time. Not all of the time. Ugh! Or is it something related to relationships and money? It could be because the planets now retrograde in Aries demanded independence and self-sufficiency for many people. You have to now navigate a new layer of complexity in your personal life and with someone you are besotted with.
Interestingly, Saturn was at 13°-14° and Jupiter was at 24° Cancer, where the planet of urgency and action, Mars, is today and tomorrow.  There is a seriousness to the day and having to go back and fix things earlier this year and the changes you made or the changes you experienced. Now there's Neptune Rx, Saturn Rx, Pallas Rx, Eris Rx, Vesta Rx, and Chiron Rx all retrograde in Aries.  It pays to examine and analyze who these planets influence your life. It's where you need to go back, review things, and perhaps fix and do things the right way without jumping into things and taking unnecessary risks.  It's wonderful because you get to do that and then move on in a few months to something new.  Take it slow with an eye towards being very respectful toward and ex, an old or past lover and someone you want to keep around. ©

Chiron Rx, the wounded healer, re-enters Aries today, where he will stay until April 14, 2027. That's when financial stability will once again be within your reach.  
In traditional Greek representations, Chiron, half centaur, is depicted as intelligent, civilized, and kind, distinguishing him from other centaurs. This difference is because of his unique parentage; he is the son of the Titan Cronus and the Ocean nymph Philyra. Unlike the typical centaur, who has the entire lower body of a horse, Chiron has human front legs, so he stood out from the other centaurs.
Chiron is the wounded healer, the centaur who stands out in a crowd because he's different. Chiron looks different and stands out from the other centaurs. So, we can say that Chiron is what stands out, who stands out, who gets all the attention, attracts attention, tries to stand out by looking odd, or gets all the attention for a moment. Being an individual and breaking into or doing innovative or different things is what Chiron in Aries tries to do.
We may see risk-takers, people who take things too far for attention and are too dramatic, differently.  You may hesitate before rushing into things, or pay a steep price if you do. Wednesday: The Moon changes signs, going from secretive or reclusive Scorpio ♏ to open and brash Sagittarius ♐. I love the air and fire influence this brings to your day. You take time from a busy schedule and are the ring leader who makes plans for everyone! You say "Hey, let's do this or Let's go out for dinner!" In short, things get very chatty quickly, and some people could put their foot in their mouths if they’re not careful. You also take the lead in starting the conversation or or starting a book club or new meet up! After being alone or enjoying your quiet time you begin to blossom back into the social butterfly we all know and love. People ask "Where have you been?" So... where have you been?
Maybe you felt the influence of the Neptune Rx-Pluto Rx sextile yesterday with its subtle yet spiritual influence. The cosmos introduces you to exciting types who inspire you but also get you out of a rut or a relationship rut. This can complicated things in your already complicated life. It’s a good time while these rare sextiles are happening, even in 2027 to reconnect with your spiritual side or even sacred rituals and places. Tuesday: The Moon is in Scorpio (Fall) ♏ today and in its first quarter phase, which is good if you need more moxie, courage, strength, and determination to muscle through, which most people do now! Ideas begin to come to your mind and conversations with others inspire you. The angel says, "You can do it there's just a little further to go." You're another Sun sign who has to break free and come out of their shell or find more work-life balance. You should start things during the 1st Qtr. Moon phase that need transforming or need to change. More practical matters need your attention today, emotional matters not so much. You may have projects to finish before you can go out.

Vulnerability is just not a Moon in Scorpio thing! Libra, after all is a cardinal Sun sign and all the cardinal Sun signs are under pressure to achieve, work hard and motivate themselves. You may also depend too heavily on others to motivate you and give you a push. The Moon in Scorpio (Detriment) is about stretching your dollar and your more practical concerns but also transforming your weaknesses into strengths. You are challenged to keep your darker impulses, like jealousy, raw emotions, manipulating others, or anger, under control because just as things can be good and you can make progress, they can go terribly wrong too. Today can be your 2nd wind where you take a deep breath and keep going because victory and progress are just ahead when the Moon enters Sagittarius tomorrow.
The Sun is in Virgo today, which gives way to worry, boredom, and procrastination, but under the Moon and Sun’s influences, once you get started and focus, it’s hard to stop. Insecurities and worries plague Libra but that's not all. The darker side of this Virgo Sun in your chart makes you think others have it better than you and that's just not true. You can resent someone. Today’s combination of the Sun and Moon is powerful for overcoming your personal challenges and problems. Although just getting started can be an issue today, it is also the secret to today!
