Cancer Tom Cruise is a high achiever and no doubt loves his status as Hollywood royalty.  Behind that big smile and almost perfect life, is a man who feels he has to control everything minute detail in his life much like a director of a film does a movie.  As a Cancer he can take the role as parent a bit too far and think he knows what’s best for everyone, even the women in his life. With his fixed planets and Sun in the 10th house of status and authority he’s the boss and he calls the shots.  It’s a good thing that the women in his life haven’t minded that!   None the less even if they did balk, he likes to talk people into things and doesn’t necessarily want a push over. He can be very persuasive.  Beginning in December of 2008 he and Katie Holmes could grow apart and each seek out new interests. His attention could begin to wander if Katie doesn’t give him the adulation he wants! There’s a scandal brewing in his life yet, I wonder how much get’s leaked out.  It’s possible that late February or early March 2009 we could hear that Tom and Katie have been having problems and living separately.  The press could give the reasons that both have had big movie projects and the pressures of their careers have kept them apart.  It’s much more salacious than that!

Sagittarius Katie Holmes is a fun loving sweet natured person.  There's an innocence with her that we all see and recognize, and it's genuine. Nothing up until she married Tom Cruise had been given to her and his interest in her, no doubt swept her away!
For freedom loving Sagittarius Katie Holmes breaking away from the rigid schedule and demands of new motherhood sees her stretching her wings and taking more control of her own destiny and future. Katie is going through her 1st Saturn return which demands that we look at our life thus far and re-evaluate our goals and grow up!.. We’ll see Katie Holmes branch off and become more of her own person.  Does that spell trouble for the Holmes-Cruise marriage, yes it does. 2009 could be troubling for Katie Holmes and she could find herself at the mercy of Hollywood power broker, her husband Tom Cruise. With his Moon and North Node in her 12th house conjoining her Jupiter like a benefactor she’ll end up a wealthy woman but with many secrets.  It looks like marital happiness could hit the rocks for these two!
